Thank you to NetGalley for providing an audio copy of this in exchange for an honest review。This audio book was about 6 mins which is a great length for a children’s book。 I thought the story was good but it lacked the many details I think I would have gotten had there been any pictures with it, besides the cover。 Narration it sef was great。 Also not really sure why a “painted bum” is a bad thing don’t most unicorns have rainbow tails ? Isn't that like the same thing ?I think the pictures would Thank you to NetGalley for providing an audio copy of this in exchange for an honest review。This audio book was about 6 mins which is a great length for a children’s book。 I thought the story was good but it lacked the many details I think I would have gotten had there been any pictures with it, besides the cover。 Narration it sef was great。 Also not really sure why a “painted bum” is a bad thing don’t most unicorns have rainbow tails ? What a fun, imaginative book! The voices really got you into the spirit of the book and really drew me in。。 I would say that this is great sequel to the first book!

Pretty Perfect Kitty-cornBy Shannon Hale this book is cute。 I thought the main audio narration was good the unicorn part felt disjointed from the rest of the story。 I’m not sure I would have went with a “paint Bum” as the focus but it made my kids laugh。 Thank you #NetGalley and Author for letting me view this title

Shannon Hale is one of the most versatile and talented authors of this generation。 This sequel proved to be just as heartwarming and positive as its predecessor。 While including silly situations and humor, Hale explores themes like perceived judgment and the pressure to be or appear perfect in front of those we admire。 It's a fantastic read for everyone, adults included! I was given an advance copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review。 This book was so cute and really came to life with the various narrators。 The book must be a feast for the eyes。 This is the story of Unicorn who feels the weight of having to be perfect all the time。 Nothing can change true friendship。 Flaws will never change the love family and friends have for you。 Knowing this helps him feel a pride in himself which only helps him shine more brightly。 What an empowering story! Loved the unicorns and kitty corns。 Good life lessons even a young age can be understood。 We wish it was longer。

This was the second Kittycorn book I listened to with my 5 year old daughter。 She loved the original book and after listening to this one, she said she liked it too, but not as much as the first one。 I tend to agree with her。 This book is about being comfortable with who you are and being yourself around your friends。 The message in this book didn’t come through as clearly as it could have。 We would be interested in visiting the Kittycorn world again, but this book wasn’t our favorite。

Kitty and Unicorn are best of friends。 An embarrassing moment makes Unicorn feel less than perfect, but Kitty is there to reassure him that they’ll be friends no matter what。 Great story! Love to see the Kitty/Unicorn friendship grow。

It's OK to not be perfect! This book teaches a good lesson in a way that kids can understand about not having to try to be perfect to please others。 All the animals are commenting about how perfect unicorn is。 Kitty-Corn is trying to paint Unicorn, and gasp, something happens to "perfect" Unicorn。I listened to this Audiobook with my kids。 It is the right interest level for littler kids。 The narrators were all engaging and helped to imagine the characters since we weren't able to see the illustrat It's OK to not be perfect! This book teaches a good lesson in a way that kids can understand about not having to try to be perfect to please others。 All the animals are commenting about how perfect unicorn is。 Kitty-Corn is trying to paint Unicorn, and gasp, something happens to "perfect" Unicorn。I listened to this Audiobook with my kids。 It is the right interest level for littler kids。 The narrators were all engaging and helped to imagine the characters since we weren't able to see the illustrations due to only listening。This book is cute and quick!Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for providing a copy of this Audiobook for an honest review。 。。。more

Shannon Hale is one of my favorite authors for older kids (Princess Academy and The Goose Girl) and even adults (Austenland)。 It was fun to see she also writes picture books for young children。 This is a cute story of a friendship between a unicorn and a kitten。 I love the message that true friends accept you for who you are and love you despite your imperfections。 Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for a temporary digital copy to use for my review。

I am so excited that there is another book in the Kitty-Corn series! My daughter and I absolutely adore Itty-Bitty Kitty-Corn, and we giggle endlessly every time we read it。 I listened to the audiobook eARC for Pretty Perfect Kitty-Corn, and I am happy to say that it's an adorably heartwarming story。 I haven't seen the illustrations, but I can picture them, and I plan to buy the physical book when it comes out。 The performances brought the characters to life, and I found myself smiling the whole I am so excited that there is another book in the Kitty-Corn series! Thank you Abrams Books For Young Readers for allowing me to read this digital copy of Pretty Perfect Kitty-Corn by Shannon Hale and LeUyen Pham。Kitty is a fluffy pink sociable cat that has three friends Gecko, Parakeet, and Unicorn。 One day, Kitty was feeling artsy and decided to draw a portrait of Unicorn because Unicorn is purrrfect and handsome。 All of a sudden, something terrible happens and Kitty and Unicorn must work together to resolve the situation。I was shocked and ecstatic that Hale & Thank you Abrams Books For Young Readers for allowing me to read this digital copy of Pretty Perfect Kitty-Corn by Shannon Hale and LeUyen Pham。Kitty is a fluffy pink sociable cat that has three friends Gecko, Parakeet, and Unicorn。 One day, Kitty was feeling artsy and decided to draw a portrait of Unicorn because Unicorn is purrrfect and handsome。 All of a sudden, something terrible happens and Kitty and Unicorn must work together to resolve the situation。I was shocked and ecstatic that Hale & Pham decided to break the stereotype that unicorns are only females because of the neon colors that unicorns possess by having the unicorn be a male。 The friendship between Kitty and Unicorn felt real, mutual, and both care about one another's feelings。 Their relationship is a great example of what a healthy respectable friendship should be since young readers are learning how to make friendships at school and in their personal lives。 This picture book would appeal towards young readers that enjoy books about friendships, cats, and unicorns。 This book would be great for young readers that are starting to be confident in reading by themselves because there's less wording and more illustrations on the pages。 。。。more

I would like to thank Edelweiss and the publisher for an advance copy in exchange for an honest review。 My 5 year old daughter and I loved the first book so we were excited to read this one。 My daughter loves cats, unicorns and the colours pink and purple so this book is right up her alley。 But what I love as a mom is the message behind the story, that no matter what, the good, the bad, the ugly, your family and friends love just the way you are。

Cute and colorful, like the first Kitty-Corn book。 It had a nice message about not needing to be perfect, and to be yourself (especially around your friends)。 Kids who liked the first will also enjoy this one。I accessed a digital review copy of this book through Edelweiss。
